About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for internal stakeholders.
- Conduct financial analysis on operational performance, profitability, and cost management.
- Support the finance team in monitoring key financial metrics and develop dashboards for performance tracking.
- Participate in quarterly business reviews, contributing to strategic discussions around financial performance.
- Research financial trends within the quantum technology sector to inform strategic planning.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You're looking for an end-of-study or gap-year internship of 6 months in a business or engineering school. You are interested in gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment, and you're eager to contribute to financial strategy and planning.
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. This position is only valid with an Internship Agreement.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative abilities to interpret financial data and generate insights.
- Attention to Detail: Carefulness in completing tasks to ensure accuracy and precision in financial reporting.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel is mandatory; knowledge of financial modeling and familiarization with financial software is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French or other languages is a plus.
- Team Player: A collaborative mindset with an eagerness to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
