About the role

  • Drive the growth of Quandela’s offers sales across high-performance computing (HPC) centers, cloud infrastructure providers, enterprise clients, and research institutions.
  • Identify and penetrate new HPC accounts across Europe (national centers, EuroHPC sites, research supercomputers).
  • Proactively originate opportunities — not just respond to inbound demand.
  • Engage early in infrastructure planning cycles to influence future procurement decisions.
  • Own the full sales cycle from cold approach to contract signature.
  • Lead high-value RFP responses and competitive tenders.
  • Evangelize the integration of photonic QPUs within hybrid HPC environments.
  • Develop trusted relationships with HPC center directors, CTOs and infrastructure leads, scientific computing heads, and government stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in B2B deep-tech sales (HPC, advanced infrastructure, AI compute, scientific systems, or quantum technologies).
  • Proven success closing complex, high-value deals in public or research-driven ecosystems.
  • Strong experience with European public procurement and large infrastructure tenders.
  • Existing network within European HPC or advanced computing environments is a major plus.
  • You can confidently discuss HPC architectures (clusters, accelerators, interconnects, cooling, integration).
  • Data center constraints and infrastructure planning.
  • Quantum computing fundamentals.
  • Hybrid quantum-classical workflows.
