About the role
- Drive the growth of Quandela’s offers sales across high-performance computing (HPC) centers, cloud infrastructure providers, enterprise clients, and research institutions.
- Identify and penetrate new HPC accounts across Europe (national centers, EuroHPC sites, research supercomputers).
- Proactively originate opportunities — not just respond to inbound demand.
- Engage early in infrastructure planning cycles to influence future procurement decisions.
- Own the full sales cycle from cold approach to contract signature.
- Lead high-value RFP responses and competitive tenders.
- Evangelize the integration of photonic QPUs within hybrid HPC environments.
- Develop trusted relationships with HPC center directors, CTOs and infrastructure leads, scientific computing heads, and government stakeholders.
Requirements
- 7+ years in B2B deep-tech sales (HPC, advanced infrastructure, AI compute, scientific systems, or quantum technologies).
- Proven success closing complex, high-value deals in public or research-driven ecosystems.
- Strong experience with European public procurement and large infrastructure tenders.
- Existing network within European HPC or advanced computing environments is a major plus.
- You can confidently discuss HPC architectures (clusters, accelerators, interconnects, cooling, integration).
- Data center constraints and infrastructure planning.
- Quantum computing fundamentals.
- Hybrid quantum-classical workflows.
