Follow agile methodologies and participate in scrum meetings and software quality audits for all the phases of SDLC.
Responsible for test creation, testing a large module or a large component and designing a feature, set of features, or whole feature area.
Perform business requirement analysis by thoroughly understanding Project Design Document and Business Requirement Document.
Develop scalable and robust test automation frameworks and scripts using Python, Pytest, BDD frameworks, and PyCharm; executes integration, regression, and performance testing using industry standard tools.
Research new or better alternate automated testing tools.
Extensively use TestRail Test Management tool or equivalent to maintain the test suites, manage the automation test results and analyze the test failures.
Works independently and collaborates across teams to drive quality initiatives and lead detailed software quality discussions.
Demonstrates clarity of thought designing end to end test scenarios to work through limited information and vague problem definitions; mentor other quality engineers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience working with API.
Experience in integrating testing artifacts with CI/CD pipeline.
P&C Insurance domain knowledge.
Knowledge of Linux, databases/SQL/Postgresql, shell scripting is a bonus.
Knowledge of GoLang is a bonus.
Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments.
Desire to automate everything and reduce the time required to manually test products.
