About the role
- Process and administer all benefits programs and policies.
- Coordinate annual benefit program renewal and open enrollment.
- Process & administer leaves of absence (LOA).
- Own the day-to-day administration of the company’s 401k plan.
- Administer, create, promote, facilitate and support wellness campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and regulatory standards & laws.
- Administer workers’ compensation and assist employees with filing claims.
- Prepare monthly benefit reconciliation and identify opportunities for automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 6 - 8 years experience in multi-state benefit plan design and administration.
- Experience in promoting and facilitating a company wide Wellness Program.
- Vendor and broker management experience.
- Strong knowledge and practical applications of employee benefits and leave of absence laws and regulations.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly developed relationship-building skills and service orientation.
- Proficiency in Excel, and Google Sheets and experience with HRIS and vendor platforms.
