About the role
- Analysis and optimization of HR and payroll processes within SAP HCM to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Configuration and implementation of payroll solutions, including retroactive payroll and expatriate payroll calculations
- Support for custom developments, collaborating closely with ABAP developers to ensure business requirements are met
- Participation in testing activities, including unit testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to validate system functionality
- Support for go-live preparation and execution, including cut-over activities and transition management
- Preparation of comprehensive documentation, training materials, and providing ongoing end-user support to ensure smooth adoption of new processes
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP HCM / Payroll implementation and support
- Participation in at least 1–2 SAP projects of similar scope and complexity
- Strong knowledge of SAP Payroll and HR master data (e.g., infotypes 0008, 0016, 1002, 9005)
- Experience with complex payroll processes, including retroactive and expatriate payroll calculations
- Familiarity with local legal payroll reporting requirements (e.g., JOPPD)
- Experience in testing activities, including unit testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, international project environment.
