About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Source, qualify, and prescreen candidates for various opportunities
- Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks, such as LinkedIn and Indeed
- Craft and send recruiting emails
- Coordinate with the talent acquisition team to determine position requirements
- Identify qualified candidate profiles using sourcing techniques such as Boolean search
- Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
- Provide talent insight and feedback on market conditions to build a recruiting strategy
- Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites
- Provide organization information, opportunities, and benefits; make presentations; and maintain rapport
- Ask for referrals from external networks
- Promote the talent and employer brand online and offline
- Maintain candidate databases via the Applicant Tracking System and talent community
- Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of recruiting or sourcing experience
- 3 years of passive candidate sourcing experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Stellar interpersonal and communication skills
- Motivated team player; self-starter
- Effective time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and complete critical tasks with a sense of urgency
