About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop new business in assigned territory
  • Work closely with operations, marketing, and sales leadership
  • Identify and pursue target strategic markets and clients
  • Establish and maintain productive peer-to-peer relationships
  • Support sales initiatives by providing client relationship support
  • Develop and execute lead generation
  • Collaborate with team to identify opportunities and execute growth strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong background in business development, sales, or marketing
  • Working knowledge of the power/energy industry
  • Thorough understanding of electrical power systems and associated equipment
  • Ability to leverage all aspects of market channels including EPC, ESCO’s, Utility Companies, Developers, Engineering Companies, End-Users, and Equipment Manufacturers
  • Experience understanding customer needs and business drivers
  • Strong leadership abilities, entrepreneurial spirit and strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize workload independent of direct supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively in and across teams
  • Cultivate business development opportunities through effective competitive and market analysis
  • Ability to foster and build strong working relationships
  • Strategic planning and tactical implementation skills
