Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic project management leadership for large and complex power generation projects
Responsible for leading projects through all internal and external processes, and successfully navigate each project through stage gates through to completion
Responsible for the overall management of the project scope, schedule, and cost
Accountable for key project decision-making
Manage a collaborative project team to ensure project success
Lead overall project – coaching, conflict resolution, facilitation, motivation, and negotiation
Responsible for leading project meetings
Accountable to develop, update and manage the project plan associated with the project life cycle
Coordinate communication and provides status updates to stakeholders as required
Assess project risk and proactively develop mitigation plans
Proactively manage project requests for information and action items
Ensure availability or seeks out adequate resources to support the project
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum of 3 years of power generation project management experience required
PMP Certification is desired
Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Primavera, and SharePoint
Proficient in analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations to support project scope, schedule and cost objectives
