About the role
- Plays a critical role in establishing technical direction and philosophy for Qualus organization
- Familiar with load flow software such as TARA, PSSE or PSLF, and/or Powerworld
- Ability to run Steady State studies
- Effectively simulate and analyze the performance of the client’s transmission and generation systems and their limitations
- Provides leadership by assigning and reviewing projects or job tasks and mentoring of less experienced consultant engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Four (4) to ten (10) years engineering experience
- Experienced running Steady State studies
- Knowledge of power system analysis and modeling techniques
- Must have strong analytical and computer skills
- Must have strong written and verbal skills.
