About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise teams of electrical testing technicians, providing guidance, support, and training
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide constructive feedback
  • Manage construction documents, including submittal review, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing
  • Oversee test procedure documentation, review results, and generate customer test reports
  • Assist with job execution and purchasing of job materials
  • Coordinate daily schedules for field service employees
  • Serve as customer contact for job-related questions and concerns
  • Conduct job-site walkthroughs to discuss work scope and revisions
  • Conduct regular safety meetings
  • Manage project profit/loss
  • Maintain and execute project schedules
  • Coordinate field activities and visit field teams and customers
  • Support employee management, business development, and financial activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, equivalent engineering science, or 6+ years of related field service management experience in the electrical testing industry
  • 4-6 years related experience with data centers, industrial services, and primary power distribution
  • 6+ years of general contractor and vendor management experience associated with construction and project execution
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, and management ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
