About the role
- Follow test plans and instructions provided by the project manager or project lead and assist in identifying hardware and software defects in the products under test. Test software/hardware functionality, compatibility, and system integration. Test software per the hardware configuration and software test plan. Test websites and ecommerce systems. Test mobile applications and mobile web sites. Duplicate and characterize defects for the development teams. Assist the design team in the failure analysis of defects. Assist the project management team as required to accomplish the goals of the project. Participate in collaborative efforts producing user-friendly software; receive training and support with opportunities for promotion.
Requirements
- Aptitude for technology, computers, and mobile devices and ability to demonstrate this in the application and interview. Experience in a structured test environment a plus. Strong computer skills. Good writing skills. Knowledge of mobile applications on iOS and Android operating systems. Good understanding of PC/Network configurations. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Good work ethic. Team player.
