About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Mentor on testing practices, tools, and concepts; work on refactoring and support the QA team in building complex, automated test scenarios;
Monitor project roll-out processes for the projects you are involved in and support the team in identifying and resolving issues; in critical situations, take the lead when necessary;
Collaborate with the team to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities arising during development or otherwise, and produce documentation mapping the identified scenarios;
Have a strong understanding of architecture models and practices and, when necessary, support the architecture team in validating and designing solutions;
Maintain a holistic view of the project and assist the team in breaking down tasks to improve delivery efficiency;
Track and analyze the metrics the team uses, suggest changes, and use them for planning and alignment;
Establish ways to support the development of people and engineering teams by identifying gaps and recommending learning resources;
Document and demonstrate solutions by producing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code;
Ensure that the solution being built meets customers' needs and applies engineering best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced knowledge of:
- Front-end patterns, practices, and architecture for scalable applications;
- Advanced security, performance, and optimization practices for the web;
- Front-end development with React, Next.js, and TypeScript;
- Experience in e-commerce projects, preferably with modern storefronts;
- Design patterns applied to the front-end;
- Use of GraphQL;
- Unit and integration testing;
- Git, branching strategies, code review, and versioning best practices;
- Use of caching, including Redis, and cache strategies for web applications;
- Solid knowledge of SOLID, Clean Code, and software engineering best practices;
- Ability to provide technical guidance to other developers, support architecture decisions, and ensure the technical quality of deliveries;
- Experience with agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
