About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Daily reviews of cloud cost dashboards;
- Check consumption alerts or budget deviations;
- Prioritize daily activities based on financial impact and project deadlines;
- Monitor the progress of FinOps initiatives;
- Update schedules, risks, and dependencies;
- Validate deliverables and ensure project delivery;
- Align actions with other departments;
- Discuss opportunities for resource optimization;
- Define priorities for implementing improvements;
- Present cost metrics and savings achieved;
- Discuss budgets, spending forecasts, and explanations for variances;
- Support decisions related to technology investments;
- Monitor risks that may affect costs, timelines, and quality;
- Ensure compliance with FinOps policies and governance;
- Update sponsors and managers on project status;
- Resolve impediments and conflicts that could delay deliveries;
- Participate in meetings with cloud providers or partners;
- Evaluate commercial proposals and cost-reduction opportunities;
- Monitor contracts and financial commitments;
- Prepare executive presentations;
- Consolidate metrics for Finance;
- Lead process audit activities across the company's implemented processes;
- Act as a knowledge multiplier, providing support to peers;
- Research new technologies and processes related to the area by participating in studies to foster the development of new technical competencies;

Requirements
What you’ll need- Financial management of multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and Oracle OCI);
- FinOps solutions (IBM Cloudability and Turbonomic) and multi-cloud governance;
- Cost and consumption monitoring;
- Project management and collaboration tools;
- Bachelor's degree (completed);
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills;
- Techniques for reading and interpreting process mapping;
- Presentation skills;
- Proficiency in FinOps (Financial Operations).
