About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create low-complexity unit and integration tests, and identify opportunities to improve and add tests to existing solutions;
Support the team in identifying issues and propose solutions;
Monitor the health of the projects you work on and proactively identify potential points of failure;
Apply security concepts and best practices;
Start gaining familiarity with metrics and how to identify and translate architectural models;
Break down features into smaller parts so they can be implemented by yourself or others;
Support the team whenever requested;
Support team initiatives, leading ceremonies and forums necessary for your and the group’s professional development.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with VTEX
System development experience
Frontend and backend patterns and best practices
Web security and performance practices
Microservices development: Java Spring Boot, Node.js, React, Angular, GraphQL, Flutter, Python, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Maven and Message Queues (JMS, ActiveMQ or Kafka)
Frontend and cross-platform development with React, Angular, Node.js, Flutter; experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes and Docker
Design patterns
Unit testing with JUnit, familiarity with logging in Datadog, and Git
Databases: Oracle DB, SQL, MySQL and Amazon Aurora
Use of caching with Redis; knowledge of SOLID principles, Clean Code and Scrum
Fluent English (work on an international project)
