About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Log and manage tickets, handling 1st and 2nd level support requests;
  • Provide support for operating systems and software installations, Microsoft Office suite, networks, printers and peripherals, as well as maintenance of desktops and laptops;
  • Perform directory mapping, configure email (POP/Exchange), Lotus Notes, set up user profiles, install VPN, manage Active Directory, and configure IP settings;
  • Monitor, respond to, and update tickets in the ticketing system, preventing queues that could jeopardize project SLAs and minimizing ticket backlog;
  • Create and update knowledge base articles, procedures, support scripts, and troubleshooting documentation in the KCS portal.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Networks, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
  • Operation of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Operating systems: Windows Server 2019, Ubuntu Linux.
  • Computer networks and communication protocols.
  • Virtualization administration (VMware) and cloud computing (AWS EC2).
  • Data storage and backup concepts, including experience with Veeam.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting in production environments.
  • Automation with PowerShell.
  • Administration of Intelbras VoIP systems.
  • Administration of Office 365 and Azure.
  • Microsoft Active Directory administration.
  • HPE Aruba wireless network administration.
  • Container environments: Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring tools: PRTG.
  • Anti-spam and antivirus tools: Symantec Messaging Gateway.
  • Remote access tools: Microsoft Remote Desktop, LogMeIn, AnyDesk, Teams, TeamViewer.
  • DNS, DHCP, DFS services and file sharing.
  • Administration of McAfee Web Gateway web content filter.
  • pfSense firewall.
  • VPN configuration via OpenVPN and others.
  • Videoconferencing systems and applications: Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Webex.
  • Implementation and administration of cloud services: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Configuration of HP and Aruba switches.
  • Web servers: IIS, Apache, Nginx.
  • Information security practices and compliance.
  • Second-level support for the Service Desk (desktops, printers, VoIP telephony).
