About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create low-complexity unit and integration tests, and identify opportunities to improve and add tests to previously developed solutions;
- Support the team in identifying issues and propose solutions;
- Monitor the health of the projects you are working on and proactively identify potential failure points;
- Apply security principles and best practices;
- Begin learning about metrics and how to identify and translate architectural models;
- Understand features and break them down into smaller tasks so they can be implemented by yourself or others;
- Support the team whenever requested;
- Support team initiatives, leading ceremonies and forums that contribute to your and the group's professional development.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Software/system development;
- Frontend and backend patterns and best practices;
- Web security and performance practices;
- Development of microservices using Java Spring Boot, Node.js, React, Angular, GraphQL, Flutter, Python, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Maven, and messaging queues (JMS, ActiveMQ or Kafka);
- Front-end development with React, Angular, Node.js, Flutter; experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes and Docker;
- Design patterns;
- Unit testing with JUnit; experience with logs in DataDog; Git;
- Databases: Oracle, SQL, MySQL and Amazon Aurora;
- Use of caching with Redis; knowledge of SOLID principles, Clean Code and Scrum.
- Nice to have:
- Experience with backend integration for the Algolia search engine.
