About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own release quality across frequent deployments, combining technical analysis and business understanding with regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing;
  • Define and drive end-to-end testing strategies for frontend, backend, APIs, and cross-service integrations across critical domains such as loan origination, payments, and reconciliation;
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks (e.g. Cypress) for UI and API regression testing, expanding coverage and reducing manual regression effort;
  • Design and execute performance and load testing (e.g. K6) to validate scalability and system stability under production-level traffic;
  • Validate distributed workflows across orchestrated multi-step flows, including failure scenarios, retries, idempotency, and data consistency between systems;
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams throughout feature development, providing guidance on quality risks, edge cases, acceptance criteria, and release readiness;
  • Mentor QA engineers, drive automation best practices, and foster a quality-first engineering culture across the team;
  • Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of professional QA experience, ideally on large-scale, high-traffic platforms;
  • Proven experience defining testing strategies for distributed microservices architectures;
  • Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks for UI and API testing (Cypress or equivalent);
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools (K6 or equivalent);
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, API validation, and contract testing;
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and technical analysis;
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and test management tools (Jira, Xray);
  • Risk-based testing mindset, with sound judgment on what to test, at which level, and when;
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, able to work with engineers, product managers, and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Ownership mindset: you treat quality as an engineering responsibility, not a checkpoint.
