About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications and services using PHP and Laravel (v12) and/or (Symfony (5.x/6.x);
  • Develop and maintain asynchronous and message-driven workflows using Symfony Messenger;
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend integrations with internal and external systems;
  • Develop and maintain automated tests using PHPUnit and/or Pest;
  • Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to application architecture decisions;
  • Conducting and participating in peer code reviews;
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following coding standards and best practices;
  • Support deployment and troubleshooting activities in Kubernetes-based environments;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and product stakeholders;
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development, testing, and production environments;
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices;
  • Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in IT or related field;
  • Minimum 4 years of professional IT experience in PHP development;
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on production experience with Symfony (5.x/6.x), including Symfony Messenger;
  • Experience with MySQL, including schema design, migrations, indexing, and basic query optimization;
  • Experience with PHPUnit and/or Pest testing frameworks is required;
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and modern development workflows (e.g Laravel Sail) and conventional commits is required;
  • Knowledge and experience with Laravel would be considered as asset.
