About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

- Work closely with business unit managers to drive the budget, forecast, and long-term business planning cycles by providing valuable input on the underlying assumptions;
- Prepare monthly performance reports, including key financial and business metrics, for presentation to business units’ executive committees;
- Monitoring actual performance against budgets and forecasts, and supporting informed decision-making to achieve financial and business objectives;
- Ensure that reliable, timely, and high-quality financial information is provided to business unit heads to support informed decision-making;
- Participate in cross-functional projects, providing financial expertise and supporting business units in the evaluation of new products, initiatives, investments, and strategic projects;
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial planning, analysis, and reporting by maximizing the use of available ERP and business intelligence systems;
- Support Qualco Group’s continued and controlled growth by taking an active role in establishing, monitoring and enforcing financial reporting and controlling processes;
- Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and support the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements

What you’ll need

- 8+ years of experience working as a Finance Business Partner, Controller, or in a similar role with managerial responsibilities, preferably in a professional services or IT company;
- University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent;
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or an equivalent field and/or financial analysis certifications (Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA), CFA, ACCA, etc.) will be considered an asset;
- Solid knowledge of financial reporting, including IFRS reporting standards, and strong presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and accurately;
- Strong financial modeling skills, including the ability to prepare cash flow statements from the P&L and balance sheet, and to project the balance sheet and cash flow based on forecast P&L assumptions;
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, AI tools;
- Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking and shifting priorities quickly under pressure and tight deadlines;
- Experience with complex ERP, BI, MIS, data analysis, and reporting tools; specific experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and/or SAP BPC reporting software will be considered an asset;
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across different levels of the organization.
