About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gain an understanding of business processes and the technology that supports them, across software-driven and data-intensive environments.
- Participate in assessments of IT environments such as software development processes, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity controls, change management and IT operations.
- Identify technology-related risks and control weaknesses, and contribute to the development of practical, business-oriented recommendations.
- Support the preparation of clear and structured deliverables (reports, presentations, analyses) for management and senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Internal Audit, Information Security, Risk and Compliance, gaining end-to-end exposure to assurance and advisory activities.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, cybersecurity trends and IT risk topics relevant to modern organizations.
- Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Academic background or professional experience in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience or strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- software development, infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, systems administration, IT operations or similar technical roles.
- Ability to understand complex IT environments and think critically about risks, dependencies and impacts—not just technical solutions.
- Interest in technology risk, governance, controls and how IT supports business objectives.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Very good communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
- Previous experience in internal or external audit is not required.
- **Nice to have (but not required)**
- Familiarity with cybersecurity or IT frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, ITIL).
- Exposure to regulated environments, financial services or large-scale IT environments.
- Certifications or coursework related to IT audit, security or risk management.
