About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage customer deployment project delivery for each sold deal within each QTS location
Coordinate with the QTS Property Development team and specialty consultants to support customer design needs, pricing, approvals, and implementation of deployment scopes
Manage project delivery by aligning client objectives, business processes, vendor management strategies, and cross-group collaboration across QTS
Drive client relationship management and cost management to deliver projects on time and on budget
Serve as a single contact for Federal sales support on potential secured deals
Liaise among QTS Sales, Operations, Property Development, and customers
Work closely with Development Construction Project Managers to ensure customer needs are met
Report into the QTS Property Development department and work closely with the CHO and CRO

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree and/or professional licenses in Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture
10 or more years of progressive responsibility in development of Mission Critical Facilities
5 or more years of data center project construction responsibility with large-scale data centers or data center lease providers
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
US Citizenship required by law due to federal customer contracts
Experience managing multiple large, multi-faceted projects preferred
Experience with Construction Health & Safety preferred
Knowledge of Customer Deployment Technologies and Equipment preferred
RCDD a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to independently manage deadlines and support staff
Ability to influence cross-discipline teams
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high-growth company
