About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the VP, Capital Markets in executing and administering QTS financing and capital markets activities
Contribute to QTS’ long-term financial strategy
Provide analytical support for financing transactions and liquidity management
Build financial models and prepare investor presentations
Support due diligence and lender/investor engagement
Manage transaction processes and interact with bankers, lawyers, external consultants, and other stakeholders
Build underwriting, financing, and liquidity models for complex asset-level and corporate-level financing structures
Work with QTS senior management and Blackstone on capital raising
Support investor relations functions for QTS lending relationships
Synthesize large amounts of data and reach reasonable conclusions quickly
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in corporate, investment banking, or capital markets at a top-tier financial institution, or relevant in-house experience
Experience executing financial transactions such as credit facilities, mortgage-secured loans, and securitization
Advanced proficiency in analytical and financial modeling
Ability to build comprehensive integrated income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement models from scratch
Ability to organize teams, lead internal outreach, and project-manage stakeholder inputs
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
Strong understanding of real estate capital markets
Completion of a major corporate, investment banking, or capital markets training program with a leading financial institution preferred
Real Estate, Data Center, or Capital Markets experience preferred
Experience providing financial and analytical support to a fast-paced organization preferred
Self-motivated, highly organized, and open communicator
Ability to organize, interpret, and draw conclusions from large volumes of data
Ability to present information clearly to non-financial managers
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work enthusiastically in a team environment and independently
