About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage the design, preconstruction and construction activities on project(s)
Interact daily with facilities, contractors, designers, engineers, commissioning agents, vendors, and data center operations staff
Manage multiple projects on campus(es) and maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports
Create and communicate updates on development program & project status
Work with stakeholders, design, and construction teams to create a master development program
Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each assigned site project(s)
Implement and manage multi-phased site development plans
Continuously update a campus master plan
Write scopes of work for design, construction, commissioning services
Evaluate and level pricing proposals for services
Collaborate with sales engineers and product teams
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Represent QTS interests as a leader in meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience
Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures
Experience with Lump Sum, Construction Management @ Risk, and Design Build project delivery methods
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
Be able to travel up to 25% of the time
