About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design complex hosting solutions and corresponding services, working with sales personnel in response to customer needs with minimal supervision.
Present advanced technical concepts in a clear manner to customers through demonstrations, technical review, and design/proposal presentations.
Effectively communicate requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with operational staff as it relates to initiatives that affect the Solutions Engineering Team.
Respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Four or more years of experience in Sales Engineering, preferably focused on managed services and custom designed solutions or applicable customer facing experience
Two or more years of experience working in data center infrastructure (space, power, connectivity) or equivalent experience
Three or more years of experience with enterprise and hyperscale colocation design to include power, cooling and networking.
Strong desire and self-motivated to learn and expand knowledge of technical and interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and presentation communication skills with the capacity to articulate complex technical topics to varying customer audiences (administrators to executives).
