About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage the design, preconstruction, and construction activities on a given project(s)
  • Manage multiple projects and maintain budgets, schedules, and status reports
  • Communicate updates on development program & project status for executive reviews
  • Work with stakeholders, design, and construction teams to create a master development program
  • Manage entitlement and permitting needs for assigned site projects
  • Implement and manage multi-phased site development plans
  • Update campus master plan to provide predictable statistics
  • Write scopes of work for design, construction, commissioning services
  • Evaluate and level pricing proposals for services
  • Collaborate with strategic procurement team on equipment procurement
  • Ensure appropriate submittals are coordinated with site stakeholders
  • Monitor and create project budget / cost-to-date against overall project budget
  • Establish project schedules and manage teams to on-time completion
  • Review monthly pay applications from contractors and change order requests
  • Develop plans for product deployment and communicate with staff involved

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures
  • Experience with Lump Sum, Construction Management @ Risk, and Design Build project delivery methods
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
  • Be able to travel up to 50% of the time
