About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage the design, preconstruction, and construction activities on a given project(s)
Manage multiple projects and maintain budgets, schedules, and status reports
Communicate updates on development program & project status for executive reviews
Work with stakeholders, design, and construction teams to create a master development program
Manage entitlement and permitting needs for assigned site projects
Implement and manage multi-phased site development plans
Update campus master plan to provide predictable statistics
Write scopes of work for design, construction, commissioning services
Evaluate and level pricing proposals for services
Collaborate with strategic procurement team on equipment procurement
Ensure appropriate submittals are coordinated with site stakeholders
Monitor and create project budget / cost-to-date against overall project budget
Establish project schedules and manage teams to on-time completion
Review monthly pay applications from contractors and change order requests
Develop plans for product deployment and communicate with staff involved

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience
Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures
Experience with Lump Sum, Construction Management @ Risk, and Design Build project delivery methods
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
Be able to travel up to 50% of the time
