About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage the design, preconstruction, and construction activities on given projects
Manage multiple projects on a campus(es) and maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports
Create and communicate updates on development program & project status monthly
Work with QTS stakeholders, design, and construction teams to create a master development program for site(s)
Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each assigned site project(s)
Implement and manage multi-phased site development plans
Write scopes of work for design, construction, commissioning services
Evaluate and level pricing proposals for design, construction, and commissioning services
Establish project schedules and manage teams to on-time completion
Review and approve monthly pay applications from contractors
Develop plans for product deployment and communicate plans with QTS staff

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience
Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures
Experience with Lump Sum, Construction Management @ Risk, and Design Build project delivery methods
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
Be able to travel up to 25% of the time
US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts
