About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and maintain excellent customer relationships.
  • Clearly documenting goals, managing expectations, and managing project outcomes to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
  • Coordinate data center deployment projects from kickoff to completion.
  • Create and maintain project plans: outlining tasks, milestone dates and allocation of resources.
  • Understand the operating models of key QTS and QTS Federal stakeholder organizations to promote effective communication.
  • Provide timely and accurate status updates to all customer, partner and QTS Federal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Own and manage customer project escalations through to resolution, and ensure expectations are clearly set with customer and QTS teams.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project methodology to improve QTS Federal services and offerings.
  • Support QTS Federal Leadership in process improvement and process development projects as the company experiences rapid growth.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years technical project management or service delivery management experience
  • Experience presenting technical information to executives
  • Experience working on projects within construction, development, or infrastructure environments, or demonstrated familiarity with construction processes and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
  • United States Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a TS security clearance. US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts
