About the role

  • Set program strategy and long-range plans aligned with corporate objectives
  • Lead a team of Project Managers
  • Hire, coach, evaluate and provide leadership to a team including setting goals and objectives for each member of the team
  • Oversee Technology Delivery Office governance, reporting, and risk management while ensuring adoption of project management templates, reporting frameworks and procedural standards to drive consistency and excellence across all technology projects
  • Engage executive sponsors to secure alignment and resources
  • Drive organizational transformation and change initiatives
  • Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned programs and projects
  • Define the strategy and desired outcomes of assigned program(s) that are aligned to the strategic objectives of the business
  • Work in partnership with business leaders to obtain and commit necessary associate resources at the appropriate time, level, and expertise
  • Deliver on time and on budget with superior quality
  • Coordinate all activities with, and report regularly to senior leadership/sponsorship teams
  • Monitor and mitigate project/program risks
  • Provide oversight to teams of individuals from cross functional teams, as well as vendors to accomplish outcomes
  • Establish appropriate project management tools, processes and procedures for a corporate project management framework as well as ensuring compliance with such tools
  • Responsible for the delivery of project components

Requirements

  • 7 or more years of business and/or consulting experience and project management experience
  • 5 or more years in supervisory/people leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or related field, MBA preferred
  • Proven success leading enterprise-scale programs and managing large budgets
  • Strong executive communication and strategic influence skills
  • Experience leading large teams in a matrix management environment
  • Experience developing and managing program budgets
  • Strong knowledge of business case development including cost/benefit analysis, NPV, current and future state assessments
  • Agile methodology, PMP and/or six sigma blackbelt preferred
