About the role
- Work closely with sales, engineering, and R&D teams to understand customer needs
- Analyze technical requirements and shape high-level solution concepts
- Provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle
- Deliver clear technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops that communicate system capabilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships in the photonics, space, and optical communication sectors
- Represent qtlabs at conferences, fairs, and industry events
Requirements
- Degree in physics, photonics, optical engineering, or a related technical field
- Understanding of optics (e.g., free-space optics, photonic sources, optical system components, etc.)
- Interest in quantum and space technologies
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and communicate solutions clearly
- Enjoys working with customers, partners, and cross-disciplinary teams
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
- Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not required
