About the role
- Design evaluation boards for PMICS and GaN/GaAs bias controllers
- Manage customer projects which includes coordinating between multiple organizations (Test, Quality, Design, Apps, Customer orgs)
- Work directly with customers and field teams to provide design-in and debug support
- Own and drive creation of technical documentation such as datasheets, evaluation results, customer presentations, and other technical collateral.
- Collaborate closely with design, validation, and product line teams to influence future product development
- Provide system-level applications support integrating Qorvo products into customer end products. This includes analyzing design tradeoffs, schematic and layout review, and testing hardware for multi-power rail loads, RF PA gate/drain sequencing, pulsed gate and drain control, and telemetry.
- Support Qorvo Design and Failure analysis with measured bench testing of IC functionality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
- 15-20 years of experience in analog, mixed-signal IC, and power supply applications or design
- Hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting power management circuits, GaN and GaAs biasing circuits, and RF power amplifier systems
- Experience with power supply design, layout, and testing.
- Strong lab skills for testing, characterizing, and debugging analog circuits
- Familiarity with I²C/SPI interfaces, and PCB design tools
- Soldering and PCB rework skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
