About the role
- Build and enhance reliable, scalable and high-performance backend services
- Make well-informed engineering trade-offs balancing quality, velocity and maintainability
- Contribute to engineering practices and collaborate closely with your team
- Participate in technical discussions and support long-term platform improvements
- Work with product and engineering teams to estimate, plan and deliver meaningful changes
- Follow strong engineering standards, with good observability, testing and operational discipline
- Help operate the services you build in production (“You build it, you run it”)
- Contribute to improving processes, tooling and systems for a global SaaS platform
Requirements
- Solid hands-on software engineering experience with languages such as Golang, .NET, or TypeScript
- Ability to work technology-agnostic and learn new languages/frameworks as needed
- Exposure designing and operating distributed, scalable, cloud-native systems
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability and commitment to maintainable code
- Willingness to collaborate, communicate effectively and support your team
- A passion for problem-solving, building clean solutions and continuously improving your craft.
