About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Run 2–3 autonomous controls per month on accounting processes: You will own each control end-to-end, from analysis through to the final report, covering Qonto’s corporate scope across all markets.
  • Conduct second-line control on accounting processes: You will evaluate whether processes operate as intended and pinpoint exactly where they fall short.
  • Write clear, actionable control reports: You will translate findings into structured, practical recommendations that stakeholders can implement.
  • Follow up on remediation plans until they are closed: When a gap is identified, you will own the follow-up — a fix is not complete until it is fully deployed.
  • Use AI to work faster and document smarter: You will leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and reporting throughout your monthly control cycle.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You are studying Accounting at Master’s level (DSCG, Master CCA, or equivalent): Strong accounting knowledge is the foundation for everything you will do here.
  • You communicate complex findings clearly: You can explain what you found and build constructive relationships with the teams you work with.
  • You are rigorous and can handle multiple controls at once: Attention to detail and workload management are essential in a monthly cycle.
  • You are a problem-solver, not just a reporter: You analyze processes to identify practical improvements, not just document the current state.
  • You are fluent in both English and French: You will work with stakeholders across Qonto’s international markets.
