About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design process from concept to completion, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.
Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights and validate design decisions.
Partner with product managers, engineers, customer experience and stakeholders to align designs with business goals and technical constraints.
Lead workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster innovative design solutions and encourage team collaboration.
Develop and maintain a cohesive design system to ensure consistency across the Qostodian platform.
Utilize analytics and user feedback to iterate and improve the user experience continually.
Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards and best practices in UX/UI design.
Present design concepts to stakeholders and advocate for user-centered design principles.
Gather and incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to refine designs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in the cybersecurity industry.
3+ years in Figma design tool.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Experience with user research and usability testing.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), or related experience.
Familiarity with DSPM and cybersecurity solutions.
Experience in a startup environment.
Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Bilingual, English and French.
Preference for candidates resident in Quebec.
