About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient Python core logic for high-scale content platforms and data-intensive applications
Build and deploy generative AI features, including RAG pipelines and LLM integrations using Vertex AI
Design and configure scalable GCP backend architectures using Cloud Run, GKE, and Cloud Functions
Participate in Technical Design Documents and translate business requirements into functional backend components
Manage the code lifecycle from local development through production using Terraform IaC and CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with US-based product owners and European delivery teams, including early-morning syncs
Apply best practices in API design, security, and automated testing for reliable enterprise deployments

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–5 years of professional experience in backend development focused on web services and API design
Mastery of the Python ecosystem, including FastAPI, Flask, or Django
Experience with asynchronous programming
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including App Engine, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL
Proven experience integrating LLMs into applications
Understanding of vector databases such as Vertex Vector Search or Pinecone
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
Fluent English skills and ability to discuss technical trade-offs clearly
Based in Argentina
Genuine effort to be present in the Buenos Aires office two days a week when not on project work
