About the role
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle for technical roles—from intake and sourcing through offer negotiation and onboarding
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand team structures, technical requirements, and hiring priorities
- Act as a trusted advisor to the business, ensuring alignment between talent strategy and organizational goals
- Build and manage pipelines across a wide range of roles, including:
- - Software Engineers (Frontend, Backend, Full Stack)
- - Solutions / Enterprise Architects
- - DevOps & Site Reliability Engineers
- - Cloud Engineers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- - Data Engineers, Data Scientists, AI/ML Engineers
- - Technical Project / Program Managers, Scrum Masters
- Drive calibration sessions with stakeholders to refine role requirements and candidate profiles
- Leverage prior experience recruiting within financial services, banking, or wealth/asset management environments
- Understand domain-specific hiring nuances including regulatory, security, and scalability considerations
- Identify candidates with experience supporting trading platforms, wealth platforms, payments, or core banking systems
- Serve as the primary point of contact for hiring across multiple technology verticals
- Provide consistent updates, market insights, and data-driven recommendations
- Proactively address hiring challenges with creative and strategic solutions
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and research-driven outreach
- Conduct talent mapping and market intelligence to build proactive pipelines
- Utilize advanced Boolean search techniques to identify niche and hard-to-find talent
- Manage interview coordination, panel alignment, and feedback loops to ensure timely decision-making
- Drive offer discussions, negotiations, and closures with a strong focus on candidate experience
- Ensure a high-quality, consistent employer brand throughout the hiring process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within ATS systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, Taleo, or similar)
- Track and report on key recruiting metrics including pipeline health, time-to-fill, and conversion ratios
- Provide weekly reporting and insights to leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 7–10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a strong focus on technical recruiting
- Proven success hiring across software engineering, architecture, DevOps, cloud, and project management roles
- Prior recruiting experience within financial services, banking, or wealth management domains is required
- Strong understanding of modern technology stacks including:
- - Frontend & Backend frameworks
- - Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- - DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes)
- - Data technologies (Python, SQL, Spark, modern data stacks)
- Expertise in sourcing techniques including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and talent mapping
- Experience working with ATS platforms such as SuccessFactors, Taleo, or similar
- Ability to operate independently in an Individual Contributor (IC) role while managing multiple priorities
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Combination of both internal (in-house) and agency recruiting experience is highly preferred
