About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and manage overall portfolio health, including product vitality, lifecycle balance, profitability, and growth alignment
  • Ensure the portfolio is balanced across market cycles, innovation stages, and strategic priorities
  • Lead portfolio prioritization discussions to align resources with highest-value opportunities
  • Oversee planning and tracking of test trials and validation activities supporting new product development and sustaining engineering
  • Ensure projects are executed within budget, timeline, and performance targets
  • Drive visibility and accountability across cross-functional teams (R&D, engineering, operations)
  • Support and enhance the IBP process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, financial targets, and product strategy
  • Translate portfolio and product roadmaps into actionable plans within IBP cycles
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the 5-year strategic plan
  • Align portfolio decisions with long-term business objectives and market trends
  • Support leadership in tracking strategy execution and performance metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 4+ years of experience in portfolio management, product management, or strategic planning
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and new product development processes
  • Experience with cross-functional leadership in matrixed organizations
  • Proven ability to drive data-based decision making and prioritization
