About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to project planning, defining technical objectives, and business growth
  • Assist in prototyping, lab work, and hands-on testing of products
  • Identify, develop, and deliver solutions that allow AFT to capture value and meet customer needs
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer processes and Qnity product and service offerings
  • Manage all aspects of the technology processes related to AFT products and services
  • Support the development, testing, and commercialization of new materials and products
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive innovation and meet customer needs
  • Significant customer and external stakeholder interaction, requiring strong communication, relationship-building, and technical problem-solving skills

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Electronics
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency
  • Ability to build customer relationships
  • Business development experience
  • Ability to use one’s initiative
  • Effective time management skills
  • Result orientation
  • High level of learning agility
  • Excellent communication skills for global communication in English
  • Ability to lead a team of peers
  • Demonstrated laboratory and hands-on experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • At least three years' experience in designing high-voltage electric machines
  • Experience in the electronics industry is preferred
  • Familiarity with SalesForce.com or other CRM systems is a plus.
