About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to project planning, defining technical objectives, and business growth
Assist in prototyping, lab work, and hands-on testing of products
Identify, develop, and deliver solutions that allow AFT to capture value and meet customer needs
Gain a deep understanding of customer processes and Qnity product and service offerings
Manage all aspects of the technology processes related to AFT products and services
Support the development, testing, and commercialization of new materials and products
Collaborate with internal teams to drive innovation and meet customer needs
Significant customer and external stakeholder interaction, requiring strong communication, relationship-building, and technical problem-solving skills

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Electronics
Demonstrated technical proficiency
Ability to build customer relationships
Business development experience
Ability to use one’s initiative
Effective time management skills
Result orientation
High level of learning agility
Excellent communication skills for global communication in English
Ability to lead a team of peers
Demonstrated laboratory and hands-on experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
At least three years' experience in designing high-voltage electric machines
Experience in the electronics industry is preferred
Familiarity with SalesForce.com or other CRM systems is a plus.
