About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to project planning, defining technical objectives, and business growth
- Assist in prototyping, lab work, and hands-on testing of products
- Identify, develop, and deliver solutions that allow AFT to capture value and meet customer needs
- Gain a deep understanding of customer processes and Qnity product and service offerings
- Manage all aspects of the technology processes related to AFT products and services
- Support the development, testing, and commercialization of new materials and products
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive innovation and meet customer needs
- Significant customer and external stakeholder interaction, requiring strong communication, relationship-building, and technical problem-solving skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Electronics
- Demonstrated technical proficiency
- Ability to build customer relationships
- Business development experience
- Ability to use one’s initiative
- Effective time management skills
- Result orientation
- High level of learning agility
- Excellent communication skills for global communication in English
- Ability to lead a team of peers
- Demonstrated laboratory and hands-on experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- At least three years' experience in designing high-voltage electric machines
- Experience in the electronics industry is preferred
- Familiarity with SalesForce.com or other CRM systems is a plus.
