Key responsibilities & impact

Lead preparation and submission of carbon project data, monitoring reports, and supporting documentation for verification and credit issuance.
Own the accuracy, completeness, and traceability of project data used in carbon accounting and reporting.
Coordinate with third-party verifiers and maintain organized, audit-ready records, calculations, and supporting documentation.
Oversee data quality checks, reporting workflows, and issue resolution across monitoring and telemetry inputs.
Partner with operations, engineering, finance, and commercial teams to support project performance, forecasting, and registry compliance.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
5+ years of experience in carbon accounting, environmental reporting, landfill gas operations, emissions data management, or verification support.
Experience with greenhouse gas calculations, technical reporting, and data quality controls in a regulated or highly documented environment.
Strong collaboration, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Familiarity with carbon registries, methodology requirements, and verification processes for landfill methane or similar projects.
Experience with telemetry, databases, dashboards, or other systems used to manage environmental or operational data.
Background working with landfill gas systems, biogas projects, or environmental compliance reporting.
