About the role

  • Manage client portfolio, deadlines and audit planning
  • Plan and conduct social and environmental audits of suppliers and subcontractors in the textile, footwear and accessories supply chain, ensuring compliance with the ABVTEX Program requirements, particularly labor, occupational health and safety, and environmental matters
  • Conduct worker interviews and documentary review
  • Assess legal requirements related to labor, occupational health and safety (OHS) and environmental regulations
  • Identify nonconformities and classify their criticality
  • Prepare detailed reports with evidence of compliance and opportunities for improvement, ensuring clarity, accuracy and adherence to the Audit Manual
  • Monitor action plans resulting from nonconformities identified during audits
  • Act with impartiality, ethics and confidentiality, and meet deadlines established by the Program
  • Actively participate in trainings, mentorships and workshops promoted by QMS Certification

Requirements

  • Professional experience preferred in the textile, footwear or accessories sectors
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education technical qualification
  • Proven training in legal requirements for garment, footwear and accessories industries regarding labor, occupational health and safety, and environmental matters
  • Minimum 40-hour training on ABVTEX Program requirements, with a final passing assessment
  • Training in a certifiable standard related to ABVTEX thematic blocks (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or SA8000)
  • Certificate of completion for the ABVTEX PROGRAM accreditation course, including successful performance in the final evaluation
  • Minimum participation in 4 field audits of the ABVTEX Protocol (for experienced auditors). Otherwise, completion of a qualification phase accompanied by an experienced auditor approved by ABVTEX is required
  • Audit log demonstrating at least 160 hours in social responsibility or occupational health and safety audits
  • Knowledge of one or more of the standards ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ABNT NBR 16001 and related standards
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, as required
  • Possess a valid and active CNPJ (Brazilian company registration/tax identification)
