About the role

  • Leadership, coaching and development of the team of Key Account Managers, fostering a performance-oriented team culture
  • Development and implementation of strategic and operational sales strategies in alignment with company objectives
  • Active contribution to the marketing strategy in close collaboration with management
  • Creation and execution of a strategic business plan to sustainably expand the customer base and drive targeted market development, segmentation and customer targeting
  • Responsibility for national sales targets, revenue growth and overall sales performance/results accountability
  • Continuous monitoring of market trends, competitor activities and industry developments to identify new growth opportunities
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with strategically important Key Accounts (e.g., clinics, hospitals and specialized centers) as well as with internal and external stakeholders
  • Representation of the company at national and international congresses, seminars and industry events
  • Conducting regular field visits, joint customer meetings and coaching sessions to ensure and improve team performance

Requirements

  • University degree preferred, ideally in a scientific field
  • Proven experience in leading and developing pharmaceutical sales teams and working as a Key Account Manager
  • Experience in fertility/reproductive medicine is an advantage
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and handling budget responsibility
  • Strong understanding of the German healthcare market and proficient use of CRM and sales analytics tools
  • Business-fluent German and fluent English
