About the role
- Lead company-wide AI agent strategy — own the roadmap, prioritize high-impact opportunities, and personally build and deploy agents using Claude and team-specific tools across the organization.
- Cross-functional automation — partner with Sales, CS, Product, Finance, Ops, and Engineering to identify manual workflows and convert them into intelligent, automated agent pipelines.
- Agent architecture & oversight — define prompt design and agent logic for both simple automations and complex multi-agent systems, while maintaining a live registry tracking performance and cost.
- Internal adoption & enablement — design and run company-wide AI programs including hackathons, onboarding tracks, and dogfooding initiatives, with clear success metrics around participation and business impact.
- ROI & impact measurement — establish frameworks to track cycle time reduction, error rates, cost avoidance, and productivity gains, ensuring pilots scale into production-grade workflows with measurable outcomes.
- AI governance & risk management — implement guardrails for responsible AI use, overseeing data handling, access controls, prompt leakage prevention, and compliance in partnership with Security, Legal, and IT.
- Strategic AI intelligence — lead a structured AI watch program to monitor trends, emerging tools, and regulations, translating insights into prioritized pilots and executive guidance on build-vs-buy decisions.
- Storytelling & evangelism — create reusable internal playbooks and reference implementations, while collaborating with Marketing and Sales to showcase the company's AI capabilities externally.
Requirements
- AI Expertise — Deep hands-on experience with the Claude/Anthropic ecosystem, multiple LLM frameworks, and the ability to evaluate tools, risks, and architectural tradeoffs confidently.
- Automation Platforms — Proven expertise with Make, n8n, Zapier, or similar tools, having shipped real business-critical workflows end-to-end.
- API & Integration Skills — Strong command of REST APIs, webhooks, data pipelines, and external connectors like HubSpot, Notion, and Google Workspace.
- Multi-Agent Orchestration — Ability to design and manage complex multi-agent systems and independently identify high-leverage automation opportunities.
- Governance & Security Mindset — Solid understanding of data handling, privacy, access controls, vendor risk, and compliance in AI-driven environments.
- ROI & Impact Driven — Measures success through tangible business outcomes — cycle time, error reduction, cost avoidance — not just adoption numbers.
- Fintech Background — Experience operating in high-growth fintech environments, ideally at startup or scale-up stage with cross-functional exposure.
- Communication & Storytelling — Communicates clearly with non-technical stakeholders, creates engaging internal and external content, and ships early while iterating fast.
- Nice to have: Experience in the Loyalty space and with Enterprise clients.
