About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee and manage all operational and reporting activities for Infrastructure, ensuring timely delivery of unit pricing, performance reporting, investor statements, taxation workpapers, regulatory submissions, and annual audited financial statement.
Actively participate in strategic initiatives such as portfolio investment acquisitions, realisations, restructures and transitions, capital and debt raising, and other client-driven directives.
Ensure effective controls and processes are in place to comply with investment mandate obligations and QIC’s internal controls framework, policies, and procedures.
Provide actionable financial insights by leveraging data and reporting from our eFront Invest system.
Build your expertise in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environment with a focus on innovation and excellence.
Drive outcomes through collaboration with internal stakeholders across treasury management, investment and financial reporting, technical accounting, risk, legal, tax matters, and performance reporting.
Assist the Tax team as needed to monitor and manage the taxation risks and obligations across the infrastructure portfolio.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrated experience in funds management, with a CA or CPA qualification.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles relating to financial instruments, valuation methodologies, foreign exchange and income taxes.
Financial statement preparation (coordinating key stakeholders to audit clearance) in compliance with financial reporting standards and frameworks across a multi-jurisdictional environment.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with an ability to learn new systems skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical ability, capable of managing complex tasks and projects simultaneously, whilst maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
