About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct financial modelling, sensitivity testing and scenario analysis
- Assess new investment opportunities through initial reviews and risk analysis
- Support valuation work for new deals and periodic independent asset valuations
- Participate in full investment due diligence across commercial, legal, tax, financial, technical and insurance streams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders and advisors
- Monitor sector, market and economic trends to evaluate portfolio impacts
- Contribute to a cohesive, high-performing Infrastructure team culture
- Support active asset management, including board preparation, management engagement and client reporting
- Coordinate internal and external resources to source opportunities and optimise portfolio assets
- Develop deep sector expertise across selected infrastructure subsectors, with opportunities to rotate across assets and sectors over time
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
- Proven experience assessing new investment opportunities
- Solid grounding in valuations and due diligence
- Strong collaborative working style and the ability to work autonomously
- Advanced analytical capability for investment and performance assessment
- Proven due diligence experience and sound judgement
- Solid understanding of M&A execution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prepare clear investment and board materials
- Effective interpersonal and influencing skills
- Ability to coach and support team development
- Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders and senior leaders
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure, accounting standards and regulatory frameworks
