Senior Property Underwriter

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently manage and underwrite complex property insurance risks
- Assess, price and control risks to ensure profitable growth
- Analyze and manage exposure, accumulation and natural catastrophe risks
- Build and maintain sustainable relationships with brokers, clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements as well as underwriting, governance and ESG standards
- Contribute to the development of underwriting strategies, products and processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience in property underwriting for commercial or industrial risks
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, coverage analysis and portfolio management
- Proven track record in profitably and sustainably managing insurance portfolios
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills
- Analytical, data-driven approach to underwriting decisions
- Business-fluent German and English (required)
