About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in developing technical solution designs
- Convert business requirements into system requirements aligned with enterprise architecture perspectives
- Ensure solutions align with business strategy, IT standards, and constraints
- Support creation of solution designs for projects, including dependency analysis
- Maintain knowledge of market developments to leverage existing or emerging technologies and business models
- Understand IT landscape to deliver effective IT solutions
- Review peer solution designs, costs, benefits, and technical designs
- Conduct technology assurance and governance aligned with architecture policy
- Define approach for structuring each application using appropriate technology solutions
- Promote adherence to IT Strategy, Architecture Principles, and Roadmaps
- Identify and assess risks within subject matter area
- Lead risk-related dialogue as the SME for that domain
- Mitigate risks in delivery while keeping to agreed plan and timeframes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Some relevant work experience
- Previous experience as a technical lead or solution architect (preferred)
- Significant experience in project delivery (preferred)
- Experience in translating business requirements into infrastructure solutions across various technologies (preferred)
- Good understanding of project delivery methodologies (preferred)
- Experience of building solutions from defined architecture standards and patterns (preferred)
- Experience of public cloud platforms and services (preferred)
- Some experience in related business and systems (preferred)
- Experience as an application developer or business systems analyst in relevant technology (preferred)
- A Tertiary Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
