About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide strategic leadership of the Claims team handling Private Company and EPL claims within Financial Lines
  • Develop and lead high-performing claims team with professionals who are capable of independently assessing complex claims
  • Work collaboratively with their claim, legal, and underwriting colleagues to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Develop a culture of accountability and a strong team of professionals with broker and customer-facing skills
  • Produce claim portfolio assessments that enable the company to view portfolio performance in various ways
  • Develop and maintain strong broker and customer relationships
  • Work with internal operations and support teams to drive claim efficiency and compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • JD Preferred
  • 10+ years relevant experience
  • Advanced understanding of U.S. financial lines market, particularly the EPL and Private Company management liability markets, including, without limitation, deep knowledge of market cycles, claim trends, pricing trends, products, and distribution channels
  • Outstanding critical thinking and writing skills
  • Outstanding presentation abilities
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and abilities, particular around leading by example, being inclusive and developing talent
