Claims Service Officer – Medical Coding
QBE InsuranceClaims Service Officer responsible for coding claims and following up to meet service targets. Supports implementation of Claims strategy while adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for ensuring all claims are injury coded in line with Company guidelines
- Responsible for keeping service levels within target
- Support the implementation of the Claims strategy to enable delivery of overall business targets
- Participate in all relevant meetings in order to share and develop strategy, knowledge and best practice
- Liaise with internal and external network to obtain relevant information
- Accumulate data in order to identify the type and severity of injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current knowledge and adherence to relevant Motor Accident Authority legislation, government and Company guidelines
