About the role

  • Comprehensive administrative support for the industrial property insurance department
  • Administrative processing and handling of international insurance contracts
  • Input and maintenance of policy data and risk information in the policy administration system
  • Preparation of insurance policies, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and billing documents
  • Research and assistance in the preparation of reports and management information
  • Independent interaction with internal stakeholders such as Underwriting and Finance

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as an Insurance and Finance Clerk (Kaufmann/Kauffrau für Versicherungen und Finanzen)
  • Further professional qualification as an Insurance Specialist (Versicherungsfachwirt) or Business Administrator (Betriebswirt) is desirable
  • Prior experience in administering international insurance contracts
  • Experience in commercial/industrial insurance
  • Independent and team-oriented working style
  • MS Office, especially Excel
  • Affinity for IT systems and processes
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Analytical skills and a structured way of working
  • Communicative and empathetic abilities
