About the role

  • The Senior FP&A Analyst role is a senior individual contributor who combines extensive financial and modelling expertise with deep business partnership to drive strategic financial outcomes. You will be expected to maintain a deep understanding of financial plans, results, and performance indicators to help accelerate profitable growth. This role exists primarily to provide high-impact financial reporting, insights and recommendations that directly influence strategic decision-making within the organisation in areas that drive recurring revenue / annually recurring revenue (ARR). This role will also provide insights into cash modeling, full P&L reporting and an understanding of revenue accounting principles.
  • Revenue and ARR Management: Developing and maintaining complex revenue, bookings and ARR models, including researching and providing assumptions around topics such as customer retention, FX changes, and customer cloud conversions.
  • Full P&L Forecasting & Budgeting: Building financial models, conducting scenario analyses, managing costs, collaborating with functional teams to establish financial targets, monitoring performance, and providing data-driven insights.
  • Performance Analysis: Evaluating initiatives, investments, or new proposals by analysing financial impact and return on investment, and delivering recurring performance reports highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Designing and maintaining analytic frameworks and dashboards for business insights, and conducting ad hoc financial analysis for strategic and operational needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Building strong working relationships across functions like operations, marketing, strategy, or technology to ensure alignment, transparency, and shared ownership of financial outcomes.
  • Role is remote anywhere in the Continental U.S.. Unfortunately we will not be able to sponsor visas for this role

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in financial analysis, planning, and/or business partnering.
  • Experience preferable in tech, investment banking, or significant experience partnering directly with functional leadership, including C-level executives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, data warehouse tools, and other financial analysis platforms.
  • Proficiency in financial software systems such as Adaptive Planning, Workday, Salesforce, and NetSuite.
  • Background in recurring revenue modeling and ARR, with a strong focus on drivers of customer retention, global currencies and subscription business economics.
  • Other knowledge / skills: Ability to partner effectively with senior Leadership, in a professional and collaborative manner.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial modelling techniques, specifically as they apply to revenue recognition and subscription business margin profiles.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex financial and operational information to non-financial stakeholders and the board.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex financial and sales operational problems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements is beneficial.
