About the role

  • Reporting to the Repowering Manager, the Repowering Project Manager / Studies Lead identifies and secures commercial opportunities for the development of wind repowering projects.
  • Contribute to the development of the repowering origination strategy
  • Identify new sites across the country
  • Identify and assess the main risks, regulatory constraints and local issues for the identified areas
  • Carry out economic analyses and cost–benefit assessments for repowering on sites identified as suitable
  • Prepare tender responses (RFPs) for park owners
  • Draft options reports for owners
  • Provide technical support to the Account Manager and the transactions team
  • Ensure handover of secured repowering projects to regional project teams
  • Monitor development and the achievement of key milestones for repowering projects
  • Report on the development progress of repowering projects to partners
  • Support the Repowering Contract Manager in the technical follow-up of our ancillary contracts
  • Create and improve repowering prospecting tools
  • Maintain competitive and technological watch on the repowering market in France and Europe
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing projects.

Requirements

  • Engineer degree or Master’s degree (Economics, Environment, Spatial Planning)
  • Professional experience in wind, solar and/or the energy sector
  • Knowledge of economic modelling of investment projects and the mechanisms and constraints of the wind market
  • Experience in project management and commercial prospecting
  • Fluent English (daily exchanges in English)
  • Strong communicator, enjoys teamwork and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Dynamic and autonomous, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Situational awareness and recognised for your adaptability, synthesis skills and proactivity
  • Rigorous, able to manage priorities with strong analytical capabilities.
